I just love all of the holiday colors that M&M’s puts together, and who could resist this pink, white, and red Valentine’s combo? Obviously, not me. Since blondies don’t seem to get nearly as much press as brownies, I thought I’d give them a shout-out and top them with all that pretty candy.
I used the Chewy Saucepan Blondies* recipe over at Land O Lakes, and they were done in a heartbeat (no pun intended). You just melt the butter on the stove, add the brown sugar, stir in the remaining ingredients, and bake them in an 8″ square pan. Done and delicious!
You probably have most of the ingredients on hand, so just grab a bag of Valentine’s M&M’s before they’re all gone and give these yummy blondies a try.
Sweet.

*Note: I omitted the pecans in the original recipe and used about 1 cup of M&M’s for an 8″ square pan.
I was just thinking that I need to make something for a valentines treat – I’ll have to give these a try. Thanks!
I think you’ll enjoy this recipe…it’s easy and tasty. Hope you’re all moved-in…love the new house 😉

these look YummY!
Thanks. I found some cherry-flavored m&m’s last night, so I’m thinking of making a second batch. I’ll update the post, if I do.
