M&M’s makes these “speck-tacular” peanut butter eggs, and I couldn’t resist baking up a batch of peanut butter cookies and topping each with a yummy candy.
I used this Classic Peanut Butter Cookie recipe, but I substituted 1/2 cup Crisco for one stick of butter, and I increased the flour from 2 1/2 cups to 2 3/4 cups. Followed the directions accordingly.
Here’s what they looked like before they hit the oven:
These cookies are SO good, and that peanut butter m&m is just enough to make them incredible!!
There’s plenty of time to bake a batch before Easter, so find those m&m’s and give it a go.

Thank you do much for sending some cookies over to our Easter celebration. They were amazingly delicious! The sugar cookies were so beautiful that we were afraid to eat them. We go over that quickly and devoured them 🙂
You are so very welcome, Christina. The sugar cookies make everyone hesitate, but they ARE for eating and I’m glad you enjoyed them!
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I look forward to hearing from you again 😉
