If I could find this pattern in my size, I’d be wearing it. Pink, pearls and roses???….it’s a “me” for sure.
I knitted this one, however, for a sweet little newborn baby girl, and I really do love it. The pattern is from Leisure Arts book #3202, and it’s called Little Lamb. It is knitted with worsted weight yarn, so it moves along pretty quickly. I used Encore yarn, color 0449, Pink Sorbet. The ribbon roses are made by Wright, and they’re available in the ribbon section at JoAnn’s. You can probably purchase them, also, at most craft stores. I had seen someone on Ravelry adorn this sweater with similar roses, and I just couldn’t resist stitching them on as an accent.
I’ll be checking my personal library for an adult-sized version of this pattern, and I care not one bit how ridiculous it may look on me. Stay tuned.

Oh wow Ann…just adorable. *Sigh*…some day we’ll be grandmothers!! 🙂 Can’t wait!
When that day comes, Carol, you can count on a special little sweater for your little one 😉 Promise.
It’s a DEAL!!
Do you have a pattern for this sweater. I like it but I cannot find the pattern.
The pattern is in the book: Precious Layettes to Knit (Leisure Arts #3202). It is available on Amazon. Hello Danielle,
The pattern is called Little Lamb and it can be found in this book: http://www.amazon.com/Precious-Layettes-Knit-Leisure-Arts/dp/1609001885
The rosebuds were purchased at JoAnn’s and hand-stitched in place. So glad you like it, and I know you’ll love knitting it!
